The Pharmacist contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly smile, a helpful voice, a helpfulattitude, to patients, clients and customers seeking services, information, requesting to transfer theirprescriptions to AHF, filing grievances or complaints.Providing a high level of clinical skills and knowledge in caring for our patients that helps our patientslive a sustainable quality of life, be productive in society and improved health contributes to thesuccess of AHF and our mission, also, contributes to society in general.Within their duties of handling incoming calls, meeting and greeting patients in the Pharmacy theyare problem solvers, providing a "helping hand" and provide a calming influence to patients thatseem to be upset or in a stressful situation.
The Pharmacist can enhance the experience of other AHF Pharmacy employees by being friendlyand helpful and by offering to give them a helping hand when they need it. In addition, givingfeedback to their manager about how service could be improved will allow the team member toenhance their contribution.
The Pharmacist adds consistent value to the AHF Pharmacy Team by adapting to various situationswith ease and by being flexible. Success for the position of a Pharmacist requires that the team member have a current Pharmacistlicense (in the State where employed) and/or hold a American Academy of HIV PhysiciansCertification for Pharmacist (AAHIVP, current or successfully obtain within 18 months ofemployment), have data input skills and experience in pharmacy systems, which includes typing skillsand familiarity with Windows PC applications.
