Summary:
Mortenson is currently seeking a proficient Scheduler with expertise in using Powerproject to join our Energy Storage and Solutions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling proposal schedules and detailing full project schedules during the design phase of energy storage projects. This team member with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
The base compensation range for this role is $85,000 - $114,800 (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%) This position is eligible for a potential annual bonus.]
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skill and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble Proposal Schedules: Develop comprehensive proposal schedules that outline project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Detail Full Project Schedules: Create detailed project schedules during the design phase, ensuring all tasks, dependencies, and resources are accurately represented.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure schedules are realistic and achievable.
- Monitor Progress: Track project progress against the schedule, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Update Schedules: Regularly update schedules to reflect changes in project scope, timelines, and resources.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute regular schedule reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, progress, and any issues.
- Risk Management: Identify scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize Powerproject to its full potential, ensuring accurate and efficient scheduling practices.
Qualifications:
- Software Skills: Proficient in using Powerproject for project scheduling. P6 experience also preferred
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with energy storage projects.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP).
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the energy storage or related industry.
