What you will be doing
Albertsons Companies Summer '25 Internship Program allows you to grow your career by engaging in an immersive experience in Supply Chain through a combination of mentoring, on-the-job skills training, project management, and professional development. After completing 10 weeks, you will have a remarkably clear idea of what working in the exciting and changing world of Supply Chain is all about. Our goal is to be your employer of choice to launch your career with Albertsons Supply Chain post-graduation. If you share our commitment to excellence in Putting People First and Raising the Bar, we can provide you with one of the most exciting and challenging internship opportunities in the industry.
• Your internship will consist of a meaningful distribution, manufacturing or supply chain operations project tied to continuous improvement, efficiency, revenue generation, or cost savings.
• You will be assigned a mentor to guide you through the program and to support you with your operations project.
• Throughout the program, you will engage in leadership development activities, including a leadership speaker series to learn more about our business and the Supply Chain network.
• You will rotate departments in our Distribution Centers or Manufacturing Facilities to dive deep into the daily activities of the various departments, which may include Transportation, Production, Quality Assurance, Grocery, Human Resources or Risk Management.
• You will work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks. You will receive holiday pay for applicable summer holidays.
• At the conclusion of the program, you will have the opportunity to travel to our corporate headquarters to present your project recommendations, including scalability, to our Senior Leadership team.
What we are searching for
• Major in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Dairy Science, Food Science & Industry, Human Resources or applicable major supporting distribution, logistics, food manufacturing or other areas of supply chain
• Qualified candidates who are on track to graduate no later than Summer 2026
• Aptitude for learning and ability to adapt quickly to new situations
• Passionate about making an impact while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams for overall company objectives
• Highly motivated with strong leadership skills and the ability to take initiative
• Ability to problem solve and think critically
• Committed to building a healthy future for our communities and our planet
• Strong communication skills

The pay is $25.00 per hour.
