The Global Analytics group at Chubb is seeking a dynamic Risk Cohort Product Owner to become a key member of our energetic, fast-paced team. Responsibilities:
- Lead the vision, strategy, creation and development of AI-powered products that enhance pricing accuracy, improve risk selection, and personalize customer interactions.
- Translate complex business needs into actionable analytical solutions, focusing on pricing, risk assessment, and cohort segmentation.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of sophisticated models that inform critical business decisions across the underwriting lifecycle.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of analytics initiatives and inform strategic decisions.
- Leverage domain knowledge in insurance, combined with applicable business experience, to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Identify market opportunities and insured needs related to risk segmentation and develop analytics products to meet these needs.
- Drive the continuous improvement of processes, methodologies, and tools to optimize analytical outcomes and deliver measurable business impact.
- Foster technical excellence in AI/ML and algorithmic techniques to enhance analytical capabilities and drive innovation within the team.
- Manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
- Support analytics initiatives globally, including in the Chubb Overseas General (COG) and North America (NA), to ensure a unified approach to data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- P&C Insurance pricing and underwriting knowledge.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in analytics, product management, or related roles, with a focus on risk segmentation preferred.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and their application in insurance.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify opportunities, and propose data-driven solutions.
- Strong business acumen in pricing, underwriting, and risk segmentation concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.
- Experience in agile project management methodologies and product lifecycle management preferred.
