Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities:
Product Managers, Heavy Maintenance are responsible for direct oversight of scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification within the Out-Side Vendor (OSV) network. This role requires a front-line leader who is proficient with many facets of aircraft maintenance while also prioritizing healthy relationships with interfacing departments. Project Managers collaborate with numerous stakeholders to deliver a safe, compliant and predictable product to the operation while ensuring deliverables meet contractual needs of the airlines' longer-term goals. Agility, resilience and professionalism are key attributes for this role meshed with exacting standards for performance, partnership and integrity. Achieving predictable results in accordance with United Airline's Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP) while executing against schedule and budgetary forecast is paramount.
- Direct oversight of safety, quality & compliance IAW, UAL, CAMP, GMM & other regulatory documents.
- Direct oversight of performance & flow execution within accepted commitments to airline.
- Actively participate in visit preparation meetings to ensure successful execution
- Assist in review of span & pricing agreements at induction & exit of visits
- Act us UAL central interfacing point for stakeholder groups to maintain production flow
- Ensure accurate & timely reporting accomplished as directed by SOP & OSV initiatives
- Administer contractual guidance in all facets of oversight & billing compliance.
- Review & approve visit invoicing IAW established pricing & trend data - resolve disputes
- Oversee & implement UAL OSV SMS toolsets, championing continuous improvement & standardization
- Special projects as assigned to improve, standardize & share best practices

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent aviation experience
- Minimum of 7 years overall aviation industry experience
- Minimum of 3-4 years supervisory, project management experience in aviation related fields, aircraft technical expertise with proven track record.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
- Aircraft heavy maintenance, troubleshooting ability
- Technical expertise & aircraft troubleshooting ability
- Aircraft maintenance management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners
- Proven organization and leadership skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Ability to partner in a variable and complex environment achieving predictable results, partnership and relationship building along the way.

The base pay range for this role is $87,780.00 to $119,680.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
