Expected salary range of $117,000 to $130,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for the planning, direction, assignment, and coordination of Rotating Steam / Gas Turbine Generator Component and Auxiliaries Outage Execution to support safe, reliable, and efficient outage activities consistent with Constellation Energy goals. Always enforce safety, procedure use and adherence, Human Performance fundamentals, Technical Human Performance techniques and provide coaching and mentoring as necessary to achieve continuous improvement.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee project activities of multidisciplinary team regarding turbine generator disassembly and reassembly, coordination of turbine deck lay-down, mobilization of equipment and tooling as well as interfacing with site management and specific contract personnel. Satisfy contractual obligations, meet project milestones, and optimize short-term and long-term company profit by effectively managing and facilitating resources.
- Participate in various aspects of work control coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings involving online, planned, and emergent outage activities, to ensure that work is properly assigned, planned and ready to execute.
- Effectively communicate and address plant and personnel issues to the appropriate levels of Outage Planning & Services and station management. Foster open communications and collaboration between all organizations internal and external to Outage Planning & Services (OP&S).
- Effectively provide oversight and direction of turbine maintenance / projects to assure all assigned maintenance activities are performed safely and effectively, by qualified workers, and in accordance with procedures and the site(s) schedule
- Willing to travel to Constellation Energy Fleet assets up to 90% of the year
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Four Year Engineering Degree or technical discipline with five years industry experience or Non-technical Four-year degree or associate degree with seven years of industry experience or In lieu of degree, minimum nine years of industry experience Ability to obtain Nuclear Unescorted Access
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Original Equipment Manufacturer ( OEM) training as applies to discipline in reactor, turbine, or steam generator projects
