We are recruiting for a Personal Lines Account Handler to work on the handling of general personal lines (Car, Van, Classic Car/Motor Cycle & Travel type policies) with some mid/high net-worth clients.
Overview of duties
- Maintain a professional image of self and the Group to all customers and insurers
- Identify and understand the customers needs and business
- Build relationships with customers and provide an ongoing service
- Complete and offer all renewals within the FCA guidelines
- Complete and process all new business and transfer new business within the FCA guidelines
- Completion of tasks in a timely manner
- Ensure that all compliance responsibilities are recorded and reported as required
- Build own technical knowledge to achieve/maintain competence and maintain own training records

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Customer Care skills
- Planning and Organisational skills
- Some High Net Worth & Mid Net Worth Insurance Technical Knowledge
- Negotiation skills
- FCA Compliant Process
Education / and or Experience
- General insurance experience
- Car, Van, Standard Homes/Thatched Homes, Classic Car/Motor Cycle & Travel type policies
- Customer service skills
