A Construction Manager is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering in the Hartford, CT area. This role will supervise and ensure quality control for the replacement of 115-kV underground transmission lines with XLPE cables, overseeing field crews and compliance with safety and construction standards.

responsibilities:
- Provide general supervision of field work, including activities by Owner's crews and external contractors.
- Ensure adherence to Underground Construction Standards through inspection and quality assurance.
- Review and verify all construction work against applicable standards.
- Record inspection results and ensure documentation is completed in a timely manner as per Owner's requirements.
- Submit verified inspections, checklists, non-conformance forms, and other reports to the Maintenance and Construction Manager or designee.
Skills:
- Expertise in street construction, utility services, and underground installations.
- strong knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
- Proficiency in quality control and compliance with construction standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in underground medium and high-voltage electrical infrastructure.
- Knowledge of underground electric, gas, sewer, water, and street excavation for utility services.
