Expected salary range of $135,900 to $151,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Commercial Business Solutions Team is responsible for driving continuous improvement and excellence through analysis and delivery of initiatives that move the organization forward and align with the larger strategic business objectives. Identify best practices through process, business & system analysis and implement solutions that can then be deployed and owned by the business. Lead data conversion and testing assurance for Capital and O&M projects and initiatives. Lead and manage spend, priority, governance and oversight of technology investments and the Retail Roadmap to ensure alignment with Retail strategy. Partner with IT to deliver technology solutions This role reports up through Commercial Operations and supports all business lines, commodities, and functional areas throughout the organization.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Team Leadership and Team Development Support (Leads Coaches and Engages Talent): Provide leadership, feedback, and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of teamwork. Create metrics to monitor and measure the quality and timely delivery of value-added working software and solutions in compliance with operational objectives. Communicate team progress, status, and issues to management. Identify the need for system/process changes and workload reallocation based on evolving business needs. Develop and implement team-level plans for communication, leadership, technical skill training, and increasing industry knowledge.
- Talent Management (Leads, Coaches and Engages Talent): Build and maintain a high-performance team through effective hiring and onboarding practices. Manage individual and team performance using goals, metrics, quality assurance, and development plans. Focus on employee engagement and team culture development. Foster stakeholder engagement and cross-functional communication to execute the company's strategy. Develop and execute business continuity plans as required.
- Projects, Improvements, and Innovation (Process Improvement / Projects): Utilize subject matter expertise to collaborate with project groups, Information Technology, and cross-functional teams. Lead and manage projects, applying project management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. Participate in capital projects and provide operational insights. May govern or oversee practices in the SDLC (software development lifecycle) including, but not limited to business requirement definition, test planning, and release management. Drive innovation and automation of processes through the adoption of new technologies. Lead initiatives to improve the reliability and integrity of business processes and workflow systems. Collaborate with other teams to provide recommendations for ongoing workflow innovation.
- Problem Solving and Issue Resolution (Problem Solving / Analytics): Exercise independent judgment to investigate and resolve discrepancies in work processes. Collaborate with internal teams to select appropriate actions for issue resolution. Evaluate alternatives and leverage technology to resolve customer issues. Stay updated on technology and industry, regulatory, and market changes. Participate in deal reviews and perform complex duties as required.
- Comprehension/Adherence of Policies and Controls (Operational Excellence): Maintain an understanding of business, contractual, regulatory, and market policies. Ensure assigned workflow processes align with policies and controls. Follow Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Key Controls and company policies. Review and evaluate the integrity of internal workflow system controls.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree with 8 yrs work experience required: or 12 yrs combination of education and relevant work experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree in relevant field (business, information systems, etc.)
- Prior experience in using CRM and/or Order-to-Cash workflow systems
- Knowledge of both retail and wholesale business
- 5+ years work experience within energy sector
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically
- Ability to lead a team with multiple employees in remote locations
- Ability to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or risks
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

- Ability to collaborate with development teams to drive improvements in system reliability and performance
