DPW Manager (Fire Protection Inspector)-Kuwait

Job Description

• Provides fire inspection services within assigned area of responsibility.
• Inspects fire protection devices, systems and procedures to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
• Plans, schedules, and conducts training programs for all functional areas of the Fire/Security Section.
• Maintains training reference files, directives, office instructions, lesson plans, training aids, and training records.
• Responds to emergencies, evaluates operational procedures, acts as safety officer, assists with rescue, fire suppression and overhaul when directed.
• May function as a firefighter to supplement existing personnel when required.
• The Fire Protection Inspector is a multi-site resource traveling between sites to perform inspections, reviews, and training.

• As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the "General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.

Job Requirement

• Must be NICET Level II Certified

• Must be US Citizen

• Must have Secret Security Clearance

• Minimum 5 years experience
• Prior Military and/or contingency experience preferred, but not required.

To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
