Job Description:
- Manage construction operations within the assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR).
- Coordinate and schedule construction department activities to ensure timely support.
- Evaluate and assess the company's construction support requirements, developing services to meet operational needs.
- Provide technical and construction assistance to projects and perform constructability reviews.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
- Conduct inspections and audits of construction activities to confirm adherence to requirements.
- Analyze and recommend construction equipment for special processes.
- Offer training and instruction on special procedures.
- Provide technical direction to business units and assist in project constructability efforts.
- Communicate with company and project management, designers, and client representatives to establish and implement constructability programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of constructability programs and provide input for proposals.
- Supervise subordinate construction employees as directed by management.
- Must be authorized to work in Somalia.
- Intermediate English proficiency is required to perform job duties.
- Basic physical ability and skills necessary for job functions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 9-12 years of relevant construction management experience.
- Proficiency in email, Microsoft Office, and specialized construction applications.
- Additional certifications, advanced degrees, or relevant specialized experience.
- Prior contingency or military experience preferred.
