Licensed Vocational Nurse - Military Veterans

Under the supervision of the LVN Supervisor and guided by the procedures of Ambulatory Services, the Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients in the ambulatory setting. The LVN will play a critical role in the patient experience including optimizing clinic flow, providing in and outreach to patients and working collaboratively with the team to create a patient centered environment. In collaboration with providers, the LVN has the clinical responsibility for developing and maintaining a high standard of patient care. S/he is responsible for daily clinical operations and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff. All components of nursing care will be individualized to meet the patient's physiological, psychosocial, cultural, and developmental level and needs. The LVN consistently projects a professional and courteous demeanor, helps establish and maintain the highest service standards for the practice and complies with the Medical Center House and Telephone Standards.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $43.00 - $53.94 (Hourly Rate).
