Technology Training Manager - Military Veterans

Summary of Primary Functions:
This position is responsible for driving the training program to our TSAs and Service and Sales Teams. This position is responsible for training our service teams in installation, training and support of various types of grade control equipment and other machine technology components. Programs directed towards our field support teams will help Dobbs Equipment and DPS succeed by gaining new customers and promoting repeat business by consistently providing high quality demos, internal and external training sessions, and support for special cases.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. (Other duties may be assigned)
Provide training for TSAs in their roles
Provide revenue producing training sessions across DPS territory to customers
Provide installation and support training for service teams related to SmartGrade and Topcon installations and support
Have clear understanding of the activities and applications that take place on construction jobsites
Develop and maintain strategic planning for the technology demonstrations for customers
Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and pursue target customers
Help develop training and marketing materials for local markets
Participate on complex technical support items as determined by Director of DPS.
Organize end user promotions such as technology field days to gain higher brand recognition
Technical Point person for training Sales staff and TSAs.
Install, inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair grade control and machine technology systems
Conduct instructor-led and live webinar training programs on grade control use in multiple applications
Participates in cross-functional and cross-divisional communication and teams to identify and leverage solutions and resources.
Develop relationships with key company personnel, channel partners and customers to acquire market share and customer satisfaction targets.
Execute other duties as assigned by management

Valid Drivers License
Pass Background/Drug screening
Industry knowledge
Technical Skills & Knowledge: Specialized skills, knowledge and abilities needed to perform the essential functions of the job.
Willingness to travel. (Up to 50%)
Good interpersonal, training, and problem resolution skills.
Education: Formal education or training required to perform the essential functions of the job. Includes degrees, certifications, licenses and/or registration requirements.
Minimum of 5 years related Equipment experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Heavy equipment and technology experience required
Demonstrated willingness to learn management techniques
Organization and communication skills must be highly developed.
Computer skills need to be broad based.
Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision.
