Department: Dept of Criminal Justice and Criminology Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties: The successful candidate is expected to teach core courses in the Department's academic degree programs, have an active research agenda that includes potential for a strong publication record, and a commitment to mentoring of students. Experience Required for the Position (Faculty Positions Only): Preferred area(s) of specialization are Policing, Juvenile Justice & Delinquency, or Corrections with primary consideration given to candidates who demonstrate the capacity to work with agencies and contribute to the Department's educational missions, research productivity requirements, and service activities.
