POSITION DETAILS
The Administrative Manager reports to the Hunter College Chief Information Officer. He/she/they will have primary responsibility for the department budgets, procurement, HR activities and oversight of various college committees. In addition, this position will be responsible for planning and coordinating department projects, activities and composing/managing college-wide communication campaigns. In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, duties include but are not limited to the following:
BUDGET : The position will plan, organize, coordinate, evaluate, and direct the departmental budget formulation, analysis, and management activities for PS and OTPS categories, in addition to multi-million-dollar capital projects. The position will be responsible for financial reporting, preparation of financial statements and statistical reports to track and manage the department budget. The position will also develop projections of expenditures for use in financial planning and coordinate the department budget with the department leadership team, the College???s Business office, collaborations with CUNY CIS, CUNY CUCF, non-Tax Levy entities (such as the Hunter College Foundation, State and Federal Grantors) and other
appropriate departments.
PROCUREMENT : This position will manage the ICIT resources and personnel assigned to plan, organize, coordinate and perform ICIT procurement activities for OTPS, Student Technology Fees and capital projects. This position will implement processes to ensure compliance with the University and College procurement processes, such as competitive bidding and best value procurement. This position will also coordinate ICIT procurements with the College Business office and other appropriate departments.
HR ACTIVITIES : Providing confidentiality while using high degree of discretion and professionalism in the preparation of personnel action forms, coordination of recruitment activities, maintenance of attendance records, performance evaluations, civil service exams for ICIT employees and management letters. This position, in conjunction with HR, will oversee all HR aspects for ICIT.
DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES : This position will serve as the principal liaison for the Chief Information Officer to other college executives, school Deans, internal department heads and departmental staff. This position will be responsible for scheduling, and researching and preparing materials for meetings with other College executives, which are often sensitive in nature, including creating meeting agendas and following up on action items. This position will also be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the department leadership meetings with a focus on timely and relevant communications among the department leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and six years' relevant experience required.

- Serves as Office Manager, supervising and training staff, managing financial operations and budgets, and coordinating technology, equipment, security, and building maintenance requirements.
- Represents management in meetings and activities related to department administration.
- Maintains archives, inventories, or collections of materials or records needed by the department.
- Works with fund-raising, marketing, technology, and other personnel to provide information and participate in Campus or University-wide initiatives.
- Collect information for, produce, and distribute department reports covering program, fiscal, and human resources issues
- Independently carries out unit activities such as approvals, student interactions, and participation in campus- or university-wide committees and projects.

Salary commensurate with education and experience, within approved salary range ($67,784 - $90,375).
