REPLACEMENT - Lead Porter RTC - Military Veterans

The Lead Porter maintains a clean, safe working environment for dealership employees and customers, either directly or through other Porters assigned to location.Rush Truck Centers opens the door to the world of opportunity. Grow with us as we continue to expand our network of locations and services.Responsibilities:- Oversee all facility maintenance and cleanliness.- Direct work of other porters within location, including scheduling.- Oversee and control facility key and security alarm program.- Oversee all City programs and policies (Water, Disposal, Fire Etc.)- Maintain all facility maintenance records and licensing.- Oversee all facility safety programs.- When necessary support other locations within region.- Operate forklift when necessary.- Assist technicians in cleaning up waste and oil spills, dispose of used engine fluids, filters, and air cleaners.- Perform PM on building and equipment.Benefits:- We offer exceptional compensation and benefits, 401K and stock purchase, incentives for performance, training, and opportunity for advancement - all in a culture that appreciates and rewards excellence, a positive attitude and integrity.Basic Qualifications:- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).- At least a years experience in general contractor work (electric, plumbing, roofing, A/C, etc), welding, small engine repair (floor scrubbers, mowers, pressure washer maintenance, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Ability to use hand tools and air impact wrench.- Must be trained and certified by the Company in using our Forklift equipment; and must be certified within 90 days. Law requires Forklift operators to be at least 18 years old.- Working knowledge of hazardous and non-hazardous material disposal.- Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the companys insurance carrier.Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/DisabledThis job posting does not state or imply that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
