Job Overview:
The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, ensuring smooth HR operations, and assisting with various HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate screenings.
Employee On boarding: Coordinate the new hire on boarding process, including preparing new employee documentation, organizing orientation sessions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal details, job history, performance reviews, and other HR-related documents.
Benefits Administration: Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
Payroll Support: Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate payroll processing, including timekeeping, overtime, and deductions.
Compliance and Policies: Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulations. Assist in preparing reports for regulatory bodies and audits.
Training and Development: Coordinate employee training programs, workshops, and development initiatives as directed by HR management.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee questions or concerns related to workplace policies, procedures, or benefits.
Performance Management: Assist with performance management activities, such as performance reviews, feedback documentation, and goal setting.
HR Reporting: Prepare and maintain HR reports on employee turnover, recruitment activity, training progress, and other HR metrics.
General HR Support: Provide administrative support for various HR projects and initiatives as needed. This may include managing HR correspondence, filing, and responding to internal inquiries.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in human resources, office administration, or customer service is preferred.
Familiarity with HR software (e.g., ADP, Workday, BambooHR) is a plus.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
