Corporate Recruiter needed - Military Veterans

Recruit, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for executive and specialized positions, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and execute strategic recruitment plans that drive business growth and reduce turnover.
Build a robust talent pipeline by sourcing candidates through social media, professional networks, and industry-specific platforms.
Post and maintain job listings on various platforms, including internet/intranet sites, social networks, and professional organizations, to attract diverse candidates.
Represent the company at recruiting events, such as job fairs, industry conferences, and college career fairs, to engage potential candidates and promote the organization.
Foster relationships with employees to build rapport, assess morale, and generate candidate leads through a robust employee referral program.
Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (Workday) to manage active searches and provide regular status reports to leadership.
Conduct reference and background checks, extend job offers, and inform candidates about compensation, benefits, and company policies.
Continuously enhance recruitment practices by participating in professional development opportunities and staying informed on industry trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, including at least 3 years of proficiency in executive and specialized role placements.
Preferred experience in staffing or executive recruiting firms and/or within the transportation, waste management, or manufacturing industries.
Expertise in sourcing, screening, and engaging with candidates via various channels and platforms.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS/Applicant Tracking Systems.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on building strong candidate and stakeholder relationships.
Ability to align recruitment strategies with organizational goals and collaborate effectively with management and HR teams.
Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and travel locally as needed to meet business requirements.
