Jeppesen is looking for a Senior Cloud Developer for our Software Engineering & Advance Technology department based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Join our small, cross-functional team that is leading the charge in transforming our organization's processes to be cloud-native. We're on a mission to redesign, simplify, accelerate, and ensure reliable deployments to our cloud environments worldwide.

As a Cloud Developer, you will collaborate with various teams including Software Development, Support, Sales and Customer Solutions, to define our cutting-edge SaaS product. Your responsibilities will include developing services supporting our Planning solution, evolving the deployment infrastructure and security, building tools and applications to enhance customer interaction, and supporting the transition to a cloud-based infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

- Strong experience in backend development and microservices architecture

- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS

- Understanding of containerization and Kubernetes

- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong development experience in one or more languages (Python, Go, Java etc)

- Experience with architectural design of cloud-native services

- Knowledge of observability practices and tools (metrics, logging, tracing)

- Familiarity with containerization technologies

- Experience with Unix/Linux environments

Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. 

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite 2-3 days a week. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Employer will initiate the visa application; however, the successful candidate will cover the cost of visa.
