Overview

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital proudly serves the health care needs of families in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties. The 102-bed community hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, the Breast Health and Women’s Center, the Cardiology Center, the Neurosurgery Center and the Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center.

 

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and carries a Level II stroke certification. Additionally, the hospital’s medical office building houses offices for specialists in primary care, cardiology, obstetrics, dermatology, surgery and pulmonology. Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital also offers outpatient services including physical therapy, a sleep lab, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation.

 

 

At Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, every decision is made in the best interest of patients and families. The maintenance department ensures the facility and the campus grounds are maintained appropriately.


Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Provides Maintenance and Engineering service and responds to service calls throughout the healthcare facility . Performs accurate and effective repairs on equipment and building systems. Calls in more qualified personnel when repairs are beyond his/her capability. Performs other tasks as directed by the General Maintenance Shop Lead and Supervisor.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensures all aspects of preventative maintenance are completed on schedule and according to department standards and procedures.
  • Keeps equipment clean and operational.
  • Performs troubleshooting and continuous improvement on building equipment and systems as assigned.
  • Maintains documentation in regards to facility equipment and systems, ensuring all necessary documentation is current and up-to-date for all applicable regulatory agencies.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience

  • <2 years
  • Supervisor Experience

  • No Experience
