Position Summary The UCLA Compliance Office is part of the Office of the Chancellor and provides guidance and oversight of the development, implementation and administration of a compliance program that is consistent with UC policies, procedures, ethical principles and core values. This position will be assisting the Clery Compliance Officer manage UCLA's Clery Act Compliance Program. Salary & Compensation *UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. Qualifications Experience complying with the requirements of the Clery Act and/or other significant and advanced knowledge of laws and regulations associated with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. (Required) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience in researching and interpreting policy and procedures. (Required) Able to research, study and analyze complex documents. (Required) Able to work with sensitive data and preserve confidentiality. (Required) Able to summarize and present complex information and results in a manner easily understood by non-experts. (Required) Experience writing concise, logical, grammatically correct repots and business correspondence. (Required) Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff, develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with a diverse, multicultural environment. (Required) Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access and other database query programs. (Required) Experience handling sensitive data and handling large data sets (Required) Able to manage multiple projects. (Required) Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
