In this role, you will use your strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to manage government sales activities across a vast territory. Your experience with planning, organization, and communication will be essential in overseeing sales quotas, building relationships with government resellers, and ensuring project success. You'll work closely with a network of professionals, including sales specialists and management, to maximize territory performance.
This role is perfect for veterans with experience in government contracts, project management, or logistics, as you'll be responsible for educating dealers on government protocols, managing key accounts, and fostering relationships with federal, state, and local government agencies. Your leadership skills will be critical as you provide training and guidance in contract vehicles and sales processes, ensuring that your dealers are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need for success. Additionally, you will conduct regular sales calls at Department of Defense facilities, using your military experience to build trust and rapport.
As you lead efforts to monitor sales projects using Salesforce, your attention to detail will ensure accuracy and timely reporting, helping the team stay on track with monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. The job also offers flexibility with a monthly travel plan, allowing you to cover the territory efficiently while maintaining a work-life balance. You'll have direct access to a supportive management team, ensuring you're set up for success and able to provide real-time updates on project developments and sales strategies.
