Enterprise Strategic Program Management Advisor - Military Veterans

The Enterprise Strategic Program Management Advisor serves as a thought leader and consultant, overseeing strategic programs and projects across various domains. This role is responsible for identifying innovative opportunities to drive business strategies and value delivery from ideation to execution, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include ensuring program management standards are utilized, providing financial oversight, and reporting and presenting on progress for aligned programs and projects.
This role follows a hybrid schedule, with the expectation of being in the office three days per week in Memphis, TN.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develops partnerships with key stakeholders to enable Enterprise Business Agility, leading to continuous performance and result improvements.
- Develop strategies for adoption and long-term sustainability of common enterprise standards and ways of working
- Leads the definition of frameworks supporting the common ways of working for demand management and value delivery
- Provides adoption and implementation support for new and enhanced framework processes
- Partners with Enterprise Architecture to ensure architecture processes are woven into the framework
- Drives business requirements for enablement through tooling solutions
- Provides ongoing coaching to enterprise stakeholders to ensure consistent application of common processes within the frameworks
- Develops and executes change management strategies in support of enterprise adoption of framework processes
- Provides updates to all levels of stakeholders, including executive leadership, and escalates risks and issues as necessary
- Lead workshops, meetings, and ceremonies to gain alignment, improve collaboration, mitigate risk, and ensure the free flow of information between all impacted stakeholders.
- Proactively maintains awareness of industry trends to ensure FedEx is aligned to and/or ahead of current industry practices
- Partners with a variety of people across the enterprise at varying levels of hierarchy.
- Independently lead initiatives to drive efficient ways of working to define, enable, and sustain business agility across the enterprise.
- Effectively communicates with appropriate audience specific techniques and channels (i.e. data led, narratives, and visuals).
- Influencing business decisions using appropriate, fact-based information synthesized from structured and unstructured data leveraging strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically
- Facilitates workshops, meetings, ceremonies, etc. as applicable to remove barriers, improve collaboration, mitigate risk, and ensure the free flow of information between all impacted stakeholders
- Driving consistent use of operating model standards and tooling to ensure solid execution and accelerated value delivery
- Maintains preference for action over inaction when faced with incomplete knowledge and/or limited data sets
- Empathize with customers to uncover pain points and unmet needs, driving user-cantered design solutions.
- Synthesize in customer research and other data to develop key insights that inform design strategies.
- Brainstorm innovative ideas and develop high-impact concepts and business opportunities
- Create and test prototypes with customers to validate concepts and gather feedback for improvement.
- Use storytelling techniques to convey insights, knowledge, and pitch opportunities compellingly.
- Facilitate collaborative design activities and methods to encourage team participation and idea sharing.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in Finance, Business, Engineering, Technology or related discipline required.
Minimum Experience
Minimum five (5) years of experience in program management or project management in a business environment.

- Demonstrated experience delivering strategy through the Lean Portfolio Management (leveraging SAFe/AGILE) construct

If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current. starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors.
