Job Summary and Qualifications

The AVP, HealthTrust Business Transformation will lead all efforts in driving the transformation of HealthTrust's business operations. This role is responsible for working closely with HealthTrust business leaders to plan, establish, and transition ongoing operations to a new operating model. It is critical that this role has a strong understanding of the HealthTrust business, processes, and an operational background to effectively manage a large transformation. This transformation will include implementing a new operating model to support business operations, redesigning the organization, and identifying performance metrics to meet organizational objectives.

What you will do in this role:

Transition Management

  • Understand the current state HealthTrust organization (e.g., people, process, technology) to effectively develop business process transition plans including detailed program plans, timelines, dependencies and risk mitigation strategies
  • Lead the transition of processes and services to the new operating model, including overseeing the development and business leadership validation of the service delivery model, process documentation, and knowledge transition plans and execution, working closely with relevant HealthTrust leaders
  • Develop and maintain transition planning activities and the business timeline for the HealthTrust functional areas by implementing robust governance processes and communication channels to track detailed activities, budget, and risks proactively
  • Serve as the primary liaison with HealthTrust leaders to complete transition activities, provide transparent communication, and solicit stakeholder action in support of the transition
  • Partner with HR, IT, and other shared services to ensure all transition activities have the resources and support to complete them including, but not limited to, business process documentation, organizational design, onboarding, and knowledge transfer
  • Partner with the communications and change management teams to ensure HealthTrust colleagues are kept up to date and cared for.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Gather input and feedback from senior-level HealthTrust stakeholders to validate transitions are being executed as expected
  • Establish and maintain HealthTrust leadership network that is responsible for informing design decisions, championing transition efforts, and supporting colleagues through changes
  • Act as the primary business point of contact for HealthTrust with other shared service capabilities within HCA, managing steering committee and board presentations as required
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as IT and Training to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and process integration
  • Collaborate with HR to develop an effective workforce transition strategy for HealthTrust colleagues accounting for the business continuity and talent nuances
  • Partner with HCA leaders to align on the financial strategy, budget needs and provide inputs
  • Communicate progress, risks and requests with HealthTrust leadership and other HCA stakeholders

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Required
  • Master’s Degree – Preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in Operations or Project Management – Preferred
  • Previous experience within HealthTrust - Preferred
