Job Summary:
The Department of Occupational Therapy at Radford University invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning in August 2025. The Department of Occupational Therapy offers a Master of Occupational Therapy ( MOT ) degree in two campus locations, including Radford and Roanoke, Virginia. We offer both, an in-person MOT degree as well as an MOT hybrid bridge track for Occupational Therapy Assistants. In addition, we are also launching a new post-professional OTD program which will be offered exclusively online. The primary campus location for this position is in Radford but teaching across campus locations (Radford and Roanoke), in both MOT tracks (in-person and hybrid), and in the online post-professional OTD program is expected. Please note that a relocation to the area is required.

The successful candidate for this position will:
- Teach across the curriculum with an emphasis on:
- Pediatrics
- Foundational OT courses
- Advise and mentor MOT graduate students
- Supervise level I fieldwork students
- Contribute to and expand our departmental scholarship agenda
- Serve on a variety of committees at the departmental and university level
- Participate in professional leadership activities
- Take part in curriculum and program development
