The Teaching, Learning, and Development Lab (TLD) in the Division of Science, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a dedicated and passionate research assistant to support a research project investigating young children?s use of digital technologies in Abu Dhabi. The successful applicant will be working on this groundbreaking initiative which aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of young children?s digital interactions to inform future policies and practices in early childhood education and development. The Researcher?s role is to primarily contribute to all elements of the study design, development of study materials, recruitment of participants, data collection, and data management and analysis for projects supervised by the PI and a Senior Project Director. The candidate will work in an international, multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, researchers, administrators, graduate students, and undergraduate students. Applicants must have a Bachelor in Psychology, Social Science, Education, Human Development or Statistics. Candidates from other fields will be considered if the required skills are demonstrated. Experience working in the MENA region and fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is required. The terms of employment are very competitive and include housing and educational subsidies for children.
