Nuclear Medicine & PET/CT Quality Lead Technologist | The Ohio State University - Military Veterans

Position Summary The Nuclear Medicine/PET Quality Lead Technologist position performs all duties of the Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist in addition to developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality and Safety standards, processes and workflows, student and employee onboarding, and training and competency requirements. The Nuclear Medicine/PET Quality Lead provides all quality assessment activities for the Nuclear Medicine/PET modality in addition to the maintenance of accreditation and regulatory requirements. The Nuclear Medicine/PET Quality Lead Technologist works in collaboration with Quality Lead Technologists from alternate modalities to develop and maintain a consistent and robust Quality and Safety program for all Imaging Services operations. Reporting to the Imaging Services Associate Director of Quality and Safety, this Lead Quality Technologist will foster a just culture and culture of safety to develop an effective and reliable quality and safety program structure through the involvement of stakeholders and defining program goals. In partnership with the Department of Radiology Leadership, the Nuclear Medicine/PET Quality Lead Technologist will integrate continuous quality improvement and learning into the department and Nuclear Medicine/PET modality across the organization, while prioritizing patient and referring clinical experiences to enhance outcomes. This individual will view high-quality care as safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable. Minimum Qualifications For Hire: Certification and active registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) required. Licensure in Radiologic Technology (Nuclear Medicine) by the State of Ohio Department of Health required. Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine program required. Minimum Associates Degree in relevant field of study required. Minimum 2 years experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Ongoing: Maintains registry meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements. Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
