$20 - $22 per hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to join our team in Wasco, CA. This position involves a variety of bookkeeping tasks, general clerical duties, and front office support. If you have experience with basic accounting principles and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:
Perform bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations and invoicing for hulls & shells.
Input new contracts into the system for hulls & shells.
Retrieve information for credit approvals and upload invoices from production into the accounting system.
Serve as the primary backup for accounts payable and assist with weekly check runs.
Reconcile daily cash reports and set up customers in Sage BusinessWorks and production.
Complete credit references for customers and assist anyone who comes into the front office.
Order office supplies and perform other clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Bilingual (preferred).
Must have at least 1 year of experience with basic bookkeeping procedures.
Strong math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
General knowledge of accounting principles (debits/credits).
Proficiency in Excel and Word.
