Please review the following job description:

Investigate and document all incoming disputes to determine accurate credit reporting. Accountable for daily Dispute productivity metrics, FCRA related SLAs, and high quality testing results. Receive and respond to eOscar for all major credit bureau reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time. 

Adherence FCRA and compliance guidelines to mitigate risk and exposure for the bank. Partners effectively with SMEs in various LOBs to assure accurate dispute decisions and credit reporting. 

Ensures overall Dispute quality and productivity standards are met, improvements are made where necessary and remediation follow-up is accomplished per internal/external audit findings. 

Focuses on workflow, client experience, reducing expense, and enhanced efficiency. 

Partners with compliance and other internal areas to ensure all related requirements are integrated into processes that comply with FCRA regulations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

High School/GED Two to three years of experience in mortgage lending or disputes operations.  Strong communication skills. Intermediate skills with Excel and Word.  Demonstrated ability to use analytical skills to identify root cause and escalate business issues.  Proven track record of being able to meet deadlines and SLAs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor Degree in Business or related field. Three to five years of work experience to include experience in either credit disputes, quality, compliance or business analyst function. Function familiarity with Regulation B, E and Z, and UDAP.
