All About You The masters program in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at Saint Louis University is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach one semester of BCB 5930 Special Topics: Molecular Genetics. This is a three-credit hour course that will cover a range of basic topics in molecular genetics and molecular biology including the concept of the gene, transcription, translation, regulation of gene expression and replication. Ideally, the course will take a genomics-centered approach and covers many of the latest methodologies used in genomics analysis. The preferred textbook will be Lewins Genes XII by authors Kreg, Goldstein and Kilpatrick. Appointment date: The position will begin in January 2024 and extend through May 2024 (Spring semester). Salary: according to adjunct faculty pay scale Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biological Science or related field is required at the time employment begins.
