Structural Mechanic - Military Veterans

Responsibilities:

• Perform sheet metal repairs and modifications on ISR-equipped aircraft, including bulkheads, airframes, spars, wings, flaps, pylons, sponsons, and fuselages, as specified in technical documentation and engineering blueprints.
• Disassemble, modify, repair, and reassemble complex metal components and systems to meet engineering and customer requirements.
• Drill, locate, modify, and install pre-fabricated modification kits in compliance with military, FAA, and AS9100 standards.
• Repair or replace damaged structural components such as skins, stringers, doublers, and other items before, during, or after aircraft modifications.
• Record all component updates (serial numbers, part numbers, etc.) in applicable forms and databases.
• Sign off work electronically using approved programs, certifying compliance with all engineering drawings and processes.
• Ensure all tasks adhere to FAA, AS9100, and military regulations.

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay Rate: $35–$45/hour
• Start at $40/hour for the first two days.
• Plate structures test on the third day determines pay:
• 94% or higher: $45/hour
• 70%-93%: $40/hour
• Below 70%: $35/hour
• Schedule: 4/10s (Monday–Thursday), 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in sheet metal work and modifications (REQUIRED).
• Prior experience with relevant airframes (preferred).
• Must provide personal tools.
