Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support our North Berwick Engineering Center for our Hot Section Structures team.

What You Will Do:

• Support activities and technologies related to commercial and military gas turbine hardware. Hardware responsibilities include components found in the compressor, turbine, and bearing compartments.
• Act as Integrated Product Team Lead of multi-disciplinary employees on projects for technical manufacturing and administrative areas.
• Develop program schedules and budgets and maintain the integrated master schedules for project(s).
• Support military budget Earn Value Measurement System (EVMS) activities.
• Travel up to 10%.

What You Will Learn:

• Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of work.
• Facilitate project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
• Monitor and assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 5 years of prior relevant experience in Project Engineering or a combination of experience in analytical mechanical design or manufacturing engineering, or an Advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of prior relevant experience in Project Engineering or a combination of experience in analytical mechanical design or manufacturing engineering.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience in aerospace or defense industries.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Department/Segment Overview: The Hot Section Military Project Engineer team is a high-performing group of engineers completing development and sustainment activities related to military turbine blade outer air seals, cooling-ducts, vane supports, and seals. This team is responsible for leading integrated product teams to develop brand-new designs, and evaluate legacy components supporting production and aftermarket activities in a variety of Pratt & Whitney engines. Project engineers ensure a plan is in place to meet all requirements for part development, production, and support.

What is your Role Type: In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is:

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.  This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
