The Red Lion Team is seeking a Sr Mechanic on Second (2nd) shift.

Summary:
Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, air conditioners, etc. | Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose malfunctions | Adjusts, cleans and lubricates parts of mechanical devices as necessary | Requisitions replacement parts and equipment |Oversees contractors at supervisory/management level.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- Maintains and services a facility's mechanical equipment, control systems, power distribution systems, and HVAC systems.
- Conducts preventative maintenance and routine repairs to a facility's systems and equipment.
- Conducts periodic safety and maintenance inspections to evaluate equipment for replacement and identify wear and damage.
- Uses technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair equipment, engines, and compressors.
- Orders parts needed for replacement and coordinates with service providers to complete maintenance tasks.
- Uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or work order system to track and document activities.
- Follows established safety procedures and regulations for hazardous materials handling
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Vocational/Technical Training Degree
- 3-5 years experience
- OR Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education &/or Experience
- Calibration.
- Facility Maintenance & Coordination.
- HVAC- Commercial.
- Mechanical Troubleshooting.
- Pneumatic Equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance.
- Reading Blueprints/Diagrams.
- Safety Inspections.
- Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Spare Parts Management.
- Equipment Repairs.
- Mechanical Maintenance.
- Mechanical Systems.
- Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
- May need to stand for long periods of time.
- Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
- This position is Safety Sensitive.
- Other job-specific working conditions: Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as required.
- No or very little travel likely.
