This Senior Business Accountability Specialist will join the Business Excellence team in building a "best in class" Front Line Risk Program to support our core business and support processes. More than just documenting processes and risks, this role will drive a culture of proactive risk management.

In this role, you will:
- Work with business stakeholders to define and document core business and support processes to enable process improvement and risk and control self-assessment (RCSA).
- Drive a consistent and effective approach to identifying risks across the organization to identify and manage risks to support the organization in achieving its strategic objectives and to drive better outcomes.
- Facilitate risk and control assessments of sufficient quality to understand and manage exposure to the organization to identify deficiencies in control effectiveness and drive improved design and execution of processes and controls.
- To promote a culture of proactive front-line accountability and ownership of its business risk decisions to support front line staff to be responsible and accountable for identifying and managing their risks.
- Provides leadership with visibility into emerging operational risk exposures and an understanding of whether controls in place effective safeguards are, supporting key decision-making.
- Work with operational risk and compliance partners to identify and implement risk, policy, and compliance requirements.
- Perform monitoring/controls related to marketing processes such as complaints monitoring/escalation, accessibility monitoring, records management, etc.
Required Qualifications, US:
- 4+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
- A comprehensive understanding of enterprise risk management framework including risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance.
- Experience with consulting on control design, develop controls and monitor control effectiveness and maintain strong documentation and ensuring remediation is completed in a timely manner.
- Ability to meet stringent deadlines, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bring prior technical procedure experience to the Front Line.
- Excellent at self-managing schedules, timelines, and deliverable dates without excessive oversight.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies, opportunities to streamline business processes, and implement change.
- Build constructive and effective relationships, delivers on commitments, and renegotiates when needed, strong sense of accountability.
- Ability to influence and consult strategically across a large organization and with various levels of leadership/stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and/or monitoring key risk indicators.
- Experience in assessing risk, reviewing risk ratings, and identifying control deficiencies.
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
