We are seeking a Sterile Processing Tech II for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications

• Responsible for preparing equipment and instruments for re-use by decontamination, sterilization and storage. Distributes supplies and assists in collection of supply charges.
• Inspects, receives, sorts, cleans and decontaminates surgical instruments and equipment according to departmental /manufacturing policies. 
• Distributes supplies to surgery and various departments in the facility. 
• Monitors, verifies and documents that cleaning and sterilization criteria has been met. 
• Puts away instruments, instrument trays and supplies in the appropriate area. 
• Handles potentially infectious material. 
• May be required to test returned equipment before it is sent out for repair. Performs daily maintenance on equipment. 
• Maintains equipment safety by promptly notifying appropriate personnel of issues.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required: Certified Registered Central Service Technician, or Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT)
• Preferred: 1 + years of experience in a healthcare setting
