Credentialing Coordinator - Military Veterans

The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely credentialing and privileging processes (including but not limited to primary source verifications, analysis and evaluation of verifications and privileges requested, and completion of application for the Credentials Committee) are completed in accordance with established regulatory agencies, accreditation organizations, Professional Staff Bylaws and Policies for initial applicants and reapplicants to the Professional Staff/Advance Practice Professionals (APPs) or other hospital related partnerships, e.g., Partners for Kids. The Coordinator maintains the confidentiality of all Professional Staff/APP information. He/she assists in managing the flow of information between the Professional Staff team, Credentials Committee, Professional Staff Leadership and the Chief Medical Officer. The coordinator applies the knowledge of standards, laws, regulations, Professional Staff Bylaws and Policies to the credentialing and privileging of professional staff and APPs. He/she facilitates the flow of information throughout the credentialing process and oversees the maintenance of related documents to credentialing and privileging. The coordinator performs accurate and timely data entry in the credentialing database system. He/she will ensure that all expirable are monitored and renewed prior to expiration.
