We have an exciting opportunity for a Artemis Network Validation & Integration Lab (ANVIL) Manager to join the team with Aerodyne Industries, a teammate company.
The Artemis Network Validation & Integration Lab (ANVIL) Manager will:
- Provide strategic leadership both from a work load and funding perspective to the ANVIL lab
- Provide technical leadership to the ANVIL lab and ANVIL Lab personnel
- Provide task assignment and task tracking to ANVIL team
- Provide technical Integration between Gateway labs, including managing interfaces between labs for joint tests
- Support services that affect the labs, including inter-lab network, physical and IT security, and facility
- Coordination with external teams on lab certification plans, integration with program goals and schedules, and implementation of common services and processes
- Participate, track, and report on event execution including integrated demonstrations and tests
- Coordinate and Manage facility space utilization and occupation
- Design and develop the Lab Network including the Time Triggered Ethernet Network
- Design, recommend, procure, install, configure and administer the computing hardware
- Design, recommend, procure, install, configure, secure and administer operating systems including Linux, VxWorks, and Windows systems
- Install, configure and troubleshoot vendor and partner software
- Ensure compliance, operational sustainment and work with It managers to ensure compliance
- Script repetitive tasks to ensure repeatability and rapid deployment
- Code event simulations to evaluate various impacts to power systems on the spacecraft during different events
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers and be customer-focused
- Manage, update, and maintain configuration management of lab and resources including documenting and maintaining a comprehensive Lab Configuration and operation
- Conduct project and resource planning and reporting (PPBE and TCSR)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requisition Qualifications:
This position has been posted at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.
- Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and normally possess 5-10 years of related experience. License and certification may be required.
- Experience leading a team of software and/or hardware engineers
- Experience with lab integration including facility and operations
- Experience with technical integration including hardware and software integration
- Experience with security planning, implementation, and maintenance
- Experience with software license management including tracking and procurement
- Demonstrate problem-solving background with accompanying troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrate effective communication with customers and other team members, both written and orally
- Linux/Unix system administration, communication, user authentication and storage design, development and maintenance
- Network analysis, configuration and administration
- Firewall maintenance and administration
- Automation of system maintenance and reporting via scripting
- Able to quickly adapt to new situations and a willingness to learn new technologies
- Able to work independently as well as collectively within a team
- Must be willing to work onsite at Johnson Space Center

Essential Functions
Work Environment
Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).

Attendance
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
