Job Description

The Specialist in Knowledge Management plays an important role in building awareness and educating Pan HH stakeholders through the deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of the knowledge exchange portal. This role involves developing and executing strategies to enhance content socialization and employee engagement. Additionally, the Specialist assists with various Knowledge Exchange Hub operations such as the implementation and evolution of existing digital, data, and analytics platforms (i.e., SharePoint, media channels, newsletters), products (i.e., narratives, event in a box), and employee networking opportunities, including Town Hall, and social events.

The Specialist will report to the Associate Director, Knowledge Exchange Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that knowledge management practices are effectively integrated and aligned with organizational goals. They will use project management and communications expertise to ensure effective dissemination of information across the organization.

Key Responsibilities include and may not be limited to:

  • Create and distribute our monthly internal HHDDA newsletter, incorporating fresh and innovative ideas to boost readership and engagement.
  • Assist with the coordinate and facilitation of organizational Town Hall meetings and social events, ensuring seamless execution and fostering an inclusive and engaging environment for all employees.
  • Manage and update content on the HHDDA internal SharePoint site, ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to all employees. Oversee site ambassadors to audit their content regularly, maintaining high standards of quality and relevance.
  • Leverage Viva Engage to design and implement interactive campaigns and initiatives that foster employee engagement, collaboration, and a sense of community within the organization.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to increase traffic and engagement across our communication channels, including social media, newsletters, and internal platforms.
  • Promote knowledge sharing culture within the organization, encouraging employees to contribute and access the knowledge base. Support the establishment of efficient channels for knowledge dissemination, such as intranet portals, newsletters, and communities of practice.


To be successful in role, the Knowledge Management Specialist must have good organization and prioritization skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills, experience with stakeholder management and have the ability to integrate and support a high-performance team. In addition, this specialist will play a critical role within several cross-functional teams, at times leading specific objectives, which requires demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder management & communications. Performing key job responsibilities will require experience using selected software capabilities including SharePoint, Viva Engage, MS Teams, MS PowerPoint, and more.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Visual, Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Project Management
  • Problem Solving & Critical Thinking
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint, Viva Engage, MS Teams, Figma
  • Ability work hybrid and come into the office at least 3 days per week


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graphic Design and Visual/Video Communications skills

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected US salary range:
$83,100.00 - $130,900.00
