40Summary:
The Orthotics and Prosthetics Lab Manager (OPLM) will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Orthotics and Prosthetics Lab (OPLab). The OPLM will be responsible for oversight of all fabrication that comes out of the lab by acting as the final quality inspector. The OPLM will be tasked with assisting the Director of Orthotics and Prosthetics to ensure that the lab and its staff adhere to compliance and regulatory guidelines set forth by the various regulating bodies (JCAHO, ABC, TxDSHS, OSHA). The OPLM will also participate in the day to day fabrication of orthotic and prosthetic devices.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
2-3 years O&P lab tech experience required
7 years experience preferred
Certification/Licensure:
American Board for Certification Certified Technician preferred
