Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Head of Power Systems / SEC Interface Director to join our team! In this role, you will get to lead and manage transformative power systems projects in KSA, ensuring excellence in collaboration with the Saudi Electric Company (SEC) while overseeing the full lifecycle of these critical projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee the entire lifecycle of power projects, interfacing closely with SEC from planning and design through to commissioning and delivery.
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
Coordinate with stakeholders, including engineers, architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project teams.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
15+ years of progressive experience in managing power systems or related infrastructure projects.
Proven expertise in collaborating with utility companies, particularly SEC.
Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing diverse, cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of power systems design, construction, commissioning, and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale budgets and deliver projects on time.
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Expertise in energy infrastructure project management, particularly in the Middle East region.
Advanced certifications in power systems or project management.
Experience working with large-scale utilities and energy companies, especially in a leadership capacity.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
