Material Quality Engineering Intern - Summer 2025

The Role:
Our site in Aurora, IL is seeking a/an Material Quality Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 12-14 weeks in duration.
The Materials Quality Engineering team is committed to excellence and developing a world class supplier quality organization. The team manages raw material and supplier risk, performance, and improvement to ensure the continuity of the Entegris supply chain and our customer's supply chain.
What You'll Do:
• Support the identification and evaluation of alternative key raw material supply chain options to support Business Continuity Plans.
• Evaluate raw material shelf-life extensions as needed to support reduction of off quality cost due to expired raw materials.
• Calculate and update raw material control limits to support the identification of raw material risk prior to being approved and used in production
• Support new product introduction raw materials by managing fingerprinting analysis for key new raw materials and suppliers
• Update Materials Quality Engineering SOP's and controlled documents as needed
What We Seek:
• Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
• Familiarity with Quality systems and organization
• Knowledge with statistical analysis and software such as Minitab and JMP
Eligibility
• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May or June through mid-August or September
• Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in an internship program

Compensation
•$20-$30 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
