School: Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department/Area: Statistics Position Description: The Department of Statistics invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow with Professor Subhabrata Sen. Professor Sen's lab focuses on research in applied probability, high-dimensional statistics, and network analysis. Potential research projects include (but are not limited to) inference on networks, typical and atypical properties of random graphs, community detection etc. The appointment will be for up to two years with annual renewal based on satisfactory performance and continued availability of funding. Basic Qualifications: Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a directly related field at time of appointment is required. Additional Qualifications: The successful applicant will be expected to have a solid technical background, research experiences showing independence and innovation, and demonstrated academic writing skills.
