T he global Finance Solutions Architect- SAP will be responsible for analyzing and translating business information and technical requirements into an architectural solution blueprint that will help achieve Entegris business objectives. This position is jointly responsible for the solution architecture, design, and delivery of SAP solutions with relating middleware, and underlying platforms. This role requires close working relationships with Business and IT leadership, internal customers, the SAP applications teams, the extend ed Enterprise Architecture team, and the P MO office and will focus heavily on the global finance processes within a multinational manufacturing company.
This opportunity will work a hybrid schedule, and will be located in Chaska, MN.
What Will You do:
- Provide thought leadership to teams on strategy and Business Capability roadmaps within the SAP landscape to drive Business Process transformation and innovation forward
- Provide leadership and work guidance , including but limited to change review and prioritization, mentoring to experienced SAP Business Analysts on multiple cross-application teams
- Be responsible for architecting SAP End-To-End solutions to meet specific business requirements and ensuring integrity of design through to implementation of the solution
- Collaborate with the key business stakeholders on reviewing current processes, gaps, and new requirements
- Be the subject matter expert for all areas related to all finance processes
- Create and maintain formal networks within the business groups to support innovation
- Propose solutions to enhance the current process, including advising on system options, risks, cost vs benefits, and impacts. Collaborate with peers in both IT and the business to facilitate the adoption of process
- Lead, manage projects, and enhancements to enable business objectives
- Reviewing business and technical requirements, focusing on solution development throughout the project lifecycle, supporting development and testing activities, evangelizing best practices and proven patterns, and escalating architecture issues and concerns (in terms of system and architecture integrity/sustainability)
- Prepares presentations, documents, diagrams, models (for process and data) , and other artifacts as required to communicate analysis, recommendations, or designs.
- Will independently c hampion Solution adoption
- Provide implementation options using a deep knowledge of SAP capabilities, including gap remediation and workarounds, to identify solution recommendations
- Understand implications from any required updates from other initiatives or technology transformations
- Support external vendors (Software and People) assessment - Ensure they follow our standards
- Support BA to Resolve complex Enhancement Request within the Change Management Process
- Support the SAP BPC and BW requirements
What You Will Bring:
- 10+ years in a senior SAP /ERP functional, architect, or consulting role specifically within manufacturing industries
- Experience in SAP implementations; specifically, functional solution design and delivery across the SAP development lifecycle, ensuring solutions are designed to meet end-user needs
- Experience working in the following solutions areas of SAP applications, with deep knowledge and expertise in cross-functional aspects of : Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Corporate Finance, Manufacturing Costing, Tax systems, Transfer Pricing, Banking Interfaces, Treasury
- Experience in SAP BW and SAP BPC functionality and process, knowledge of the Financial consolidations and FP&A functions of a global company
- Effective with creative solutioning and communication to influence and facilitate resolution of a problem/business issue. Uses influencing and negotiation skills when appropriate
- Exceptional communication, both written and verbal, and facilitation skill
