Production Engineering Intern - Military Veterans

General Information:

As a Production Engineering Intern, you will be supporting the Production Engineers to drive Continuous Improvement using Lean Manufacturing tools.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support Production Engineers with projects and tasks.
  • Team member of Kaizen events (5s, Waste Reduction, Standard work).
  • Waste Observations.
  • Data Entry.
  • Create and modify manufacturing procedures.
  • Improve Health, Safety, and Environmental performance by completing Activity-Based Risk Assessments.
  • Live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.


Your Background:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Preference in CAD.
  • Communicating Skills.
  • Motivated.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university engineering program in the US.
