A Capital Communication Services Forman will perform skilled structured cabling work in the installation, service, maintenance, repair and alteration of low voltage category cabling, fiber optic cabling, and various other low voltage cabling systems. This will include the physical removal and/or installation of structured cabling components, including, but not limited to pathway systems, racks, and faceplates. A Foreman will also be responsible for installing the networking equipment, security cameras, wireless access points, and audio visual components. In addition, a Foreman will be responsible for supervising multiple crews of Technicians and Installers in this work.

Requirements
- Must have at least three years of experience.
- Have BICSI Technician certification (preferred).
- Have NC Fire Alarm/Low-Voltage License (preferred).
- Have audio visual experience (preferred).
- Must have leadership experience and ability to oversee multiple crews of Technicians and Installers.
- Must be able to read, understand, and implement blueprints and specifications.
- Must be able to understand a full project Scope of Work.
- Must be able to track materials received and used.
- Must have a full comprehension of terminology pertaining to installation and service of telecom, data, security and wireless systems.
- Must be able to install, terminate, and test copper and fiber-optic cables.
- Must be able to produce schedules and effectively utilize manpower to meet project deadlines.
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass government background check.
- Must have valid drivers license.
- Must be able to speak and write English.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work on ladders/lifts as needed.
- Must be proficient with hand and power tools.
- Must have necessary hand tools.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Raleigh-Durham area daily.
- Must be able to travel beyond the Raleigh-Durham area occasionally.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
- Must be able to work varying work schedules (evenings and weekends) occasionally.
- Must have smartphone for time keeping and project information apps.
Daily Duties May Include
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers in a professional manner.
- Maintain consistent communication with leadership.
- Maintain safe working habits.
- Install, terminate, and test Cat6 cabling.
- Build pathways for cabling (cable tray, ladder rack, J-hooks).
- Build telecommunications and equipment rooms (equipment racks, ladder rack, grounding, etc.).
- Label work station outlets.
- Troubleshoot existing cabling.
- Set up and use industry standard test equipment.

- Foreman - reporting to Project Manager/Owner, lead jobs and crews, BICSI certified
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
