Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Lineperson who is responsible for the daily planning and execution of aerial fiber construction. You will be working from bucket trucks to place strand, anchors, hardware and ensure that fiber cable is properly installed and secured. Your ability to provide guidance to the other members on your immediate team will help you achieve construction goals while simultaneously meeting the essential Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

Safely operate bucket trucks and/or other types of lifts

Setup and operate cable placing equipment such as Larson reels, fiber blowers, and cable tuggers

Install strand and applicable hardware

Properly set span up for cable placement with the use of cable rollers

Place fiber optic, coax cables, and traceable wire

Set up and utilize single or double lashing tool

Qualifications:

Active CDL A is preferred

1+ year of experience directly related experience, working as a Lineperson or equivalent position

We are looking for local candidates to Oklahoma for in state work

Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures as they apply to related construction processes

Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license, appropriate to the requirements of the vehicle being driven, and a clear driver’s abstract

Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements and background check

Work Conditions:

Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.)
