This team will have some travel through Oklahoma.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct the placement of fiber optic cables through safe installation methods





• Keeps crew vehicles clean and conducts regular vehicle maintenance checks and associated paperwork





• Assist the cable placement team by flagging traffic when needed





• Assists in installing telecommunication fixtures, handling cables, conduits and other materials





• Troubleshoot installation obstacles that prevent the safe and standard installation practices of the cable placement

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be willing to travel through Oklahoma



• Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures



• Cable experience is an asset



• Ability to operate company vehicles and properly tow/back-up trailers



• Must successfully complete a criminal background check, pre-access drug and alcohol screenings



• Must possess and maintain a clean driver’s abstract and valid full-driver's license appropriate to the requirements of the vehicle being driven

Work Conditions:

• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, in confined spaces and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
