Maintenance Technician - Military Veterans

Shift: 3rd shift

Overview:

We specialize in manufacturing essential components for internal combustion engines, specifically camshafts, serving a global customer base. We are currently seeking maintenance technicians for our third shift to support our extensive fleet of machinery. Maintenance technicians will play a key role in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks on CNC mills, lathes, and other assigned equipment.



• Diagnose and repair issues in CNC mills, lathes, as well as other electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machinery to reduce downtime.



• Use and interpret common measuring equipment effectively.



• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records for maintenance supplies and equipment.



• Read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.



• Dismantle machinery and equipment to inspect and replace defective parts.



• Install, inspect, or repair electrical wiring, electronic components, plumbing, and related systems.



• Keep accurate records of completed maintenance tasks.



• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to ensure timely problem resolution.



• Operate a forklift safely.



• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices.

Desired Experience:

• Preferred: Five to ten years of relevant experience.



• High school diploma or equivalent.



• Journeyman certification in machine repair.



• Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) is an advantage.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude.



• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.



• A valid driver’s license.
