Job Title: Performance Engineer (Gatling)
Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid)
Role Summary:
- We are looking for a Performance Testing Engineer to design, develop and execute performance tests on our applications to ensure they meet performance benchmarks under various load conditions.
- You will be responsible for identifying performance bottlenecks, optimizing code and configurations, and ensuring the system can handle expected user traffic.
Responsibilities:
- Develop performance test plans, scenarios, scripts using tools like Gatling, JMeter etc.
- Conduct load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing to identify and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Simulate real-world user loads using tools like Gatling, JMeter, LoadRunner etc.
- Analyze performance test results and logs to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
- Recommend application configuration changes, code optimizations to improve performance.
- Monitor application performance in production and recommend improvements.
- Create and maintain performance test datasets, environment, and scripts.
- Identify performance requirements and goals through collaboration with development teams.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $53.27 - $56.29 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
