WMS WCS TEST ENGINEER - Military Veterans

Position: WMS WCS TEST ENGINEER

Location: China Grove, NC (Onsite role)

• The work involves executing test cases, validating software controls and equipment, and documenting issues.



• The team uses q test as their testing tool and Microsoft Excel for data management.



• Daily stand-up meetings and end-of-day status calls are part of the routine.



• We are looking for candidates with experience in two out of three key areas: Software (WMS, WES, WCS implementations), automation (AGVs, goods-to-person systems, high-speed sortation), and distribution center operations.



• The role involves working with software and automation equipment, executing test cases, and documenting issues.



• While the position requires light technical knowledge, it focuses more on functional understanding from an end-user perspective.



• They should also be easy to work with and able to add value creatively during downtime. Physical capability is important, as the job may involve manual labor.



• Strong organizational skills are crucial, as the role requires managing hundreds of test cases and tracking issues thoroughly.



• While technical knowledge is beneficial, the focus is more on functional understanding from an end-user perspective, including the ability to translate design documentation into test scenarios.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
